Accurate, Precise and Stable test result


Optimized system design, complete sample combustion, full electrolysis of generated gases and thorough integration ensure accurate results. The temperature control precision, repeatability, and other index are in conformance with GB standard (Certificate No. 2007-05-01 by China National Coal Quality Supervision and TestingCenter).


Coulomb Sulfur Analyzer working principles

 

· A sample combusts and decomposes in air current with catalyst, the sulfur in coal produces sulfide in the

  reaction, and among the products, the sulfur dioxide absorbed by potassium iodide (KI) solution . Titrate

  the iodine produced by electrolyzing potassium iodide, and calculate the total sulfur content in coal

  according to quantity of electricity consumed when electrolyzing.
  The total sulfur content, St, ad, of the sample, expressed as a percentage by mass, is given by the equation

  below:

  St, sd=(m1/m)x100

  Where
  St, ad is total sulfur content in general analysis samples, expressed as a percentage by mass, %;
  m1 is displayed in coulomb integrator, expressed in milligram, mg;
  m2 is the mass of the sample, expressed in milligram, mg.

 

High Accuracy in Testing Single Sample

  • Complete combustion
    Horizontal furnace with a super wide uniform temperature zone(≥90mm) ensures complete combustion of coal samples.

    • Full electrolysis
      Equipped with dilated and thickened electrolysis electrodes and a unique positioning slot which ensures that the electrolytic cell is fixed at the same position every time, the SDS616 can stir the electrolyte more evenly and then electrolyze the gases more completely.

    · Full integration
      The instrument adopts independent single chip microcomputer to conduct real-time hardware integration,

      which can avoid software integration errors completely. The results are accurate and reliable.

    High Precise Result without Calibration Curve

    • The unique gas flow stabilization & balance device (Patent No.:ZL200610031713.X、ZL200610032318.3) and digital flow meter (Patent No.: ZL200620052361.1) make the gas flow fixed at 1000ml/min.     High automation


    Chain type automatic sample sending device (Patent No.:ZL200610031584.4) allows the adding and replacing of samples during test, 17 samples can be loaded once, then all samples’ introducing, testing and discarding are automatic and completed continuously.
