Praseodymium Calcium Manganate Sputtering

Target Description

Praseodymium calcium manganate sputtering target from Stanford Advanced Materials is an oxide sputtering material containing Pr, Ca, Mn and O.

Praseodymium is a chemical element that originated from the Greek ‘prasios didymos’ meaning green twin. It was first mentioned in 1885 and observed by A. von Welsbach. “Pr” is the canonical chemical symbol of praseodymium. Its atomic number in the periodic table of elements is 59 with a location at Period 6 and Group 3, belonging to the f-block. The relative atomic mass of praseodymium is 140.90765(2) Dalton, the number in the brackets indicating the uncertainty.

Calcium is a chemical element that originated from the Latin ‘calx’ meaning lime. It was first mentioned in 1808 and observed by H. Davy. The isolation was later accomplished and announced by H. Davy. “Ca” is the canonical chemical symbol of calcium. Its atomic number in the periodic table of elements is 20 with a location at Period 4 and Group 2, belonging to the s-block. The relative atomic mass of calcium is 40.078(4) Dalton, the number in the brackets indicating the uncertainty.

Manganese is a chemical element that originated from Either the Latin ‘magnes’, meaning magnet, or from the black magnesium oxide, ‘magnesia nigra’. It was first mentioned in 1770 and observed by O. Bergman. The isolation was later accomplished and announced by G. Gahn. “Mn” is the canonical chemical symbol of manganese. Its atomic number in the periodic table of elements is 25 with a location at Period 4 and Group 7, belonging to the d-block. The relative atomic mass of manganese is 54.938045(5) Dalton, the number in the brackets indicating the uncertainty.

Oxygen is a chemical element that originated from the Greek ‘oxy’ and ‘genes’ meaning acid-forming. It was first mentioned in 1771 and observed by W. Scheele. The isolation was later accomplished and announced by W. Scheele. “O” is the canonical chemical symbol of oxygen. Its atomic number in the periodic table of elements is 8 with a location at Period 2 and Group 16, belonging to the p-block. The relative atomic mass of oxygen is 15.9994(3) Dalton, the number in the brackets indicating the uncertainty.
