The GD2344-103F5 bend fixture meets the requirements of ASTM D2344 for testing the short-beam strength of fiber-reinforced polymer-matrix composite materials and laminates. This fixture has a 6mm diameter loading nose and support slides on needle bearings, as specified in the standard for testing curved beam specimens. The support slides sit 12 mm (0.47 in) apart while unloaded.
