G175 Pneumatic wedge action grips include wedge jaws that are moved by a pneumatic piston centered above them. The dual acting wedge jaws move simultaneously to the grip centerline, ensuring correct specimen alignment, removing bending strains that invalidate test results. They perform static tension tests and tension. They are not capable of through zero/reverse stress or fatigue tests. G175 grips test round and flat samples of elastomers and plastics including rigid and semi-rigid films and sheets. These grips save time by offering quick and easy sample insertion.
