The GC1399-902 bend fixture meets the requirements of ASTM C1399 for testing the residual strength of fiber reinforced concrete by third point loading. The support bars are adjustable to a maximum separation of 300 mm for testing the standard 100x100x350 mm (4x4x14 in) concrete beam specimen. Loading and support bars are articulating to maintain contact with the specimen throughout the test. Also included are the 12x100x350 mm (0.5x4x14 in) steel base plate, for testing up to first crack, and a mounting jig for two mid-span LVDT.
The bending fixture and LVDT mounting jig are built to the specification of ASTM C78, which ASTM C1399 uses for fixture specifications, and also meet the requirements of ASTM C1609 and ASTM C1018.
