ASTM B312 Transverse Rupture Strength Test Fixture of Metal Powder | GB312
The fixtures presented in this document are specially designed to meet the requirements of testing green strength of compact metal specimens, as set by ASTM B312. The test machine used for this test must be able to load the specimen at a rate of 20 lbf/min. (American Society for Testing and Materials [ASTM], 2000) To accomplish this a universal compressive test machine should be used. An alternative to a universal test machine is a constant load beam device with metal shot load. TestResources has the testing machines, grips, and equipment for testing materials.
