G799 Kramer Shear Fixture consists of ten blades and a cell designed to measure tenderness of meats, vegetables, fruits and other foods. The specimen is placed into the cell and the blades apply shear forces to the sample using a test machine.
G799 is constructed from stainless steel and the blades have a total diameter or 120 mm x 120 mm. The fixture has a max force capacity of 10 kN and comes with 15.9 mm female cup adapters with a hole for an 8mm diameter cross pin.
