-
-60°C ~ 400°C temperature range
-
Dual top-bottom heating for reduced vertical temperature gradients.
-
Large chamber to fit standard 25 mm × 75 mm microscope slides, liquid crystal cell holders, and electro-optical devices
-
Sample side-loading and removeable XY sample positioning
Description
Instec's HCS402/HCS402XY microscope hot and cold stage features a dual heater design which virtually eliminates vertical temperature gradients in the sample chamber. This makes the HCS402/HCS402XY temperature controlled environment an ideal choice for thicker samples or when the best available temperature uniformity is necessary. Top and bottom dual pane windows in the HCS402/HCS402XY stage are removeable and exchangeable to meet a range of spectroscopic needs. The stage can be mounted vertically for applications requiring horizontal beam access to the sample chamber. The interior of the HCS402/HCS402XY is large enough to accommodate a variety of samples, including electro-optic devices and standard 25 mm x 75 mm microscope slides.
The integrated top cover heater provides supreme above-ambient temperature stability and uniformiy - a must have for precision experiments!
